Aide Health has taken top honours in the Health and Wellness and Digital Product categories at the BIMA (British Interactive Media Association) Awards.

The BIMA Awards are the UK’s longest-standing and most prestigious digital and tech awards, recognising the work in the British digital sector that is truly pushing the limits of what is possible, making a difference in business, culture and society.

From BIMA: "The entries for this year highlighted an inspiring commitment to fostering social change, embracing diversity, and celebrating talent. We are talking about individuals who are boldly pushing the limits, and we take great pride in acknowledging their outstanding contributions to the success of the industry."

Today, Aide is available to approximately 250,000 patients in the NHS with support for asthma, type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Aide has been awarded funding from the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) and selected to join the prestigious DigitalHealth.London Accelerator in '23/24.

Ian Wharton, founder and CEO of Aide Health, said:

While our work is just getting started, this is a great testament to our exceptional team and their efforts over the past 12 months in particular. BIMA recognises digital excellence, and we are working hard to bring innovation to people who need more support managing their long-term conditions. Thank you to our partners and customers in the NHS.”

About Aide Health

Launched in 2021, Aide Health is a digital health service that helps patients and their clinicians better understand and manage long-term conditions. The service connects a browser-based tool for the clinician (enabling the creation and remote monitoring of Health Plans for people with chronic disease) with a mobile app for the patient, which serves as a 24/7 companion through prescribed care.
